Dental Care from a Team You Can Trust

At Beavers and Broomfield Family Dentistry, we provide our patients with a range of comprehensive dental services. We have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide every patient with the care they need. With a warm and welcoming environment, our patients feel comfortable and can ask any questions they may have about their dental treatments.

Services we offer include, but are not limited to:

Cleaning and Preventative Maintenance

We recommend routine cleanings every six months in order to maintain your oral health. During a routine check-up, we will assess the overall health of the mouth, polish the teeth, remove any built up tartar, plaque, and stains. We will also take x-rays as needed to identify potential problems early.

Periodontal Disease

Many people have this disease and don’t even know it! It is usually characterized by red, swollen and bleeding gums. It is the number one reason for tooth loss. Research has shown links between periodontal disease and medical problems such as strokes, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and pregnancy risks. Other studies have shown that periodontal disease can shorten life expectancy by 7 to 10 years. Treatment varies according to the severity of the disease.

Sealants

Sealants are a preventive application applied to the chewing surfaces of the teeth, and are designed to prevent the intrusion of bacteria and other debris into the deep crevices or grooves found in most teeth.

Extractions

If a tooth has been damaged by decay or a fracture, we will try to repair it and restore it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, the damage is too extensive for the tooth to be repaired and the tooth may need to be removed/extracted.

Fillings

Fillings are used to replace portions of your tooth after decay has been removed. Composite tooth-colored fillings are bonded to your tooth structure restoring strength to the tooth and leaving a natural appearance.

Root Canals

When the nerve in a tooth suffers trauma from impact or decay causes the nerve to become infected, the infected tissue must be removed by either extracting the tooth, or performing a root canal. Removing the infection from the tooth and replacing the missing nerve with a restorative material is called root canal therapy (also known as endodontic treatment).

Dentures/Partials

Dentures are generally classified as partial or full. Partial dentures are designed to replace a small section of teeth, and help prevent existing healthy natural teeth from shifting position; full dentures generally replace an entire set of teeth such as upper and lower dentures.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is certainly one of the most popular cosmetic processes. We offer several different options when it comes to teeth whitening, and can help you find the one to most effectively achieve the bright smile you desire.

Gingivitis

Inflammation of the gum tissue, characterized by changes in the color, shape, firmness, surface appearance, and presence of bleeding.  Gingivitis is the only reversible state of gum disease where permanent bone loss has not yet occurred. Lack of early treatment and/or good home care can lead  gingivitis to advance to permanent bone loss (periodontal disease) and eventual tooth loss.

Dental Emergencies

Dental emergencies can be very frightening and often painful. Prompt treatment is generally required to alleviate pain and ensure the patient’s oral and overall health. If you’re dealing with a dental emergency, call us immediately at 479-856-6610 and we will schedule you in as soon as possible.

Restoration of Dental Implants

An implant is an artificial device implanted into the bone in the space of a missing tooth. It is usually hidden below the gum-line and supports a crown, bridge, partial, or denture. We will be happy to discuss all implant options with you and coordinate with a specialist for your dental implant placement.
