Beavers and Broomfield Family Dentistry offers a wide variety of services from routine dental health maintenance to complete mouth restoration. A few of our services include:

Cleaning and Preventative Maintenance

We recommend routine cleanings every six months in order to maintain your oral health. During a routine check-up, we will assess the overall health of the mouth, polish the teeth, remove any built up tartar, plaque, and stains. We will also take x-rays as needed to identify potential problems early.

Sealants

The sealants are applied to the chewing surfaces and are designed to prevent the intrusion of bacteria and other debris into the deep crevices on the tops of teeth.

Extractions

If a tooth has been damaged by decay or a fracture, we will try to repair it and restore it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, the damage is too extensive for the tooth to be repaired and the tooth may need to be removed/extracted.

Dentures/Partials

Dentures are generally classified as partial or full. Partial dentures are designed to replace a small section of teeth, and help prevent existing healthy natural teeth from shifting position; full dentures generally replace an entire set of teeth such as upper and lower dentures.

Fillings

Fillings are used to replace portions of your tooth after decay has been removed. Composite tooth colored fillings are bonded to your tooth structure restoring strength to the tooth and leaving a natural looking product.

Root Canals

When the nerve in a tooth dies, the infected tissue must be removed by either extracting the tooth, or performing a root canal.Removing the infection from the tooth and filling the canal where the nerve was removed is called a root canal (also known as endodontic treatment).

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns are a custom restorative dental treatment that involves covering the entire tooth and restoring it to its original shape. Crowns can be used to restore your tooth if you have had a root canal, the tooth has fractured, there is a large amount of decay. Bridges are non-removable replacements for missing teeth.
