Teeth cleanings are probably the thing most of our patients associate with going to the dentist. We clean, floss, and scrub your teeth so that they’re looking good when you leave the office.
We take x-rays to make sure there are no underlying problems at the roots or a part of the bone. We visually inspect your teeth and gums. All this information helps us make informed decisions about your treatment plan.
Sealants are protective plastics that typically cover the far back teeth that are hard to get to with floss. They provide a protective barrier which prevents food and bacteria from affecting the teeth.
Teeth Cleanings & Dental Exams
Preventative care is important for children. Teeth cleanings help us make sure that your child’s smile stays healthy! Regular exams allow us to identify and fix issues as early as possible.
X-rays are especially important for children because it gives us insight into how their teeth and gums are developing. This allows us to develop a more unique treatment plan!
Whitening is a procedure we do to get rid of stains and to get rid of that yucky yellow or brown coloring you may have from coffee, tea, wine, and other substances that might stain your teeth. We can get your teeth looking amazing.
Veneers are a cosmetic implement used to repair and mask certain dental needs such as chipped or malformed teeth. We use either porcelain or a composite resin that will have you looking great in no time.
Bonding is a procedure that we can use to repair broken teeth. It’s a less expensive and less invasive procedure than veneers but can get the job done if you’ve experienced broken teeth or dental trauma.
Full reconstruction, while not super common, is a multistep procedure for repairing or replacing all the teeth in a patient’s mouth. It is necessary for some patients who have experienced dental trauma or who have experienced a lot of decay.
Fillings are the typical treatment for cavities. We remove the decay in a tooth and fill it in with a compound of one type or another such as a composite, silver amalgam, or ceramics.
Sometimes decay or trauma damages a tooth down to the pulp and a root canal seals off the tooth down to the root so that no more decay or infection can occur. It’s filled in and sealed off for good.
A patient can get dentures after removing/losing all their teeth or just top or bottom rows. They can be made in a way that looks natural and fits with your own bite.
Restoration Of Implants
If one of your dental implants breaks or gets discolored, our team is happy to get you back on track, looking and feeling great.
Implants are one of the tools used to replace teeth that have been removed. We can get you fitted with an implant and place it so that your smile and bite don’t miss a beat.
Broken teeth happen. There are a number of reasons why this can happen, and we can help you out. We can also help you with preventative measures.
We see accidents all the time. Maybe a dog ran out in front of you while you were biking the Greenway and you have an accident that involves dental trauma. Whatever the case, your instinct to contact us is right. We can fix you up.
An abscess is what results from an infection in or around the tooth. A pocket of pus builds up inside the tooth or the gums. It’s not a great situation to be in and can really affect your whole health for the worse.
Gingivitis is highly treatable. It’s an inflammation of the gums and brushing, flossing, and dental cleanings are effective in combating it. We’ll help you combat even the worst case of gingivitis.
Periodontal disease is what happens when gingivitis is left unchecked and moves on to full-blown gum disease. It requires a more aggressive and invasive treatment than gingivitis.
TMJ, or temporomandibular joint disorder, affects the joint where your jaw fits your skull. There are numerous home treatments and exercises your dentist can show you as well as some things we can do to alleviate pain.
